Meet the Mother & Daughter duo behind the dream...
My name is Carina, and I am the mom. I have been in the fashion industry for more than 25 years and I dress by this quote, “dress for yourself, not the crowd and capture the spirit and essence of your soul.”
My name is Jhané, and I am the daughter. I have been in the fashion industry since my birth... My mom has taught me from a young age to embrace my style and be uniquely me. Because “why fit in, when you were born to stand out!”
We are both tall women, we come from a tall family. Carina is 1.87m and Jhané is 1.8m tall. We are both very proud of our height - we stand tall and take up our space… but finding clothes that fit us well, has always been a challenge, trying to squeeze our bodies into clothes that weren’t designed for our bodies. Short sleeves, awkward hemlines, sizing up just to make our pants longer - this was our “normal”. Out of that shared frustration, MyFashion.design was born. We realized that standard sizing doesn’t just exclude tall women, they exclude all women who don’t fit into a mass-produced mold. We believe that every single woman deserves clothing that honors her body exactly as it is. We also know that apart from looking good with well-fitted clothes, feeling confident in your style is just as important. That’s why we created a style journey that helps every woman discover her unique style, understand what makes her feel confident, and find clothes that are made to fit both her body and her personality.
